"Awake My Soul"

Dont you ever get those feelings when you just want to lay down on your bed and cry in sync to the entirety of Mumford & Sons.

Maybe its cause I'm on my period or whatever, but... well... I just want to go to sleep. or cry. or cry and go to sleep with Timshel playing in the background.

"I can't move the mountains for you"

Or ponder the meanings of I Gave You All

"If only I had an enemy bigger than my apathy I could have won."

But then the powerful song Thistle & Weeds starts playing with its lovely uplifting lyrics...

"But I will hold on, I will hold on hope."

 ...and you realize two things,
  1. You're stupid for crying after the first day of school since you just got to see all of your friends that you havent seen all summer, you get to be excited and other junk like that.
  2. Then, you figure that you dont really have a reason at all for you to be crying. No reason at all
So then the question comes up; "Why am I crying?"

Sadly... its an answer you have on the tip of your tounge, but you cant seem to spit it out. And the only thing you have to cope with you're inability to voice your theories is to pretend that it never happened. Pretend that you never felt like crap, and that your stomach never convulsed, and that your heart never clenched, and that you spent the entire evening watching Doctor Who and Tweeting and texting Sean instead of wiping drops of water and salt form your face.

Summer's Gone

The first day of school starts tomorrow morning. I don't know if I should be excited or deadful or both. See... People. That's why I'd be dreadful. But that's also why old be excited! Crazy, right?
Well... I'm just hoping that this year will turn out to be better than the past two years. I hope that my junior year is actually... Well... Memorable.

Evil Things?

Chilling with my lovely cousin, Marivel, right now. We just watched this movie called "Evil Things". Weird, but interesting.

Now we're just listening to music and discussing our love lives, since her boyfriend is going to college and my.. Love intrest is in Hawaii until he knows what he wants to do for the rest of his life.

I'm glad Sean is going on a mission of self discovery. Don't tell him I said this... But I think he kind of needs it. Haha :)

Post-"Fright Night"

Okay. I don't even know where to begin with this... I guess I can say that it was AMAZING. I absolutely loved the different types of characters, I loved the surprising plot twists, I love how the action starts from the very beginning and doesn't stop until the end of this lovely 106 minute horror thriller. Plus, it had a nice health dose of humor sprinkled throughout the film. Lots of people died, and lost of people turned into vampires, but in the end everything was "Monster Free" (Which is what Charlie's mom says at the end of the movie).

OH! and lets not forget the wonderful and amazing David Tennant who was not only a great bit of comic relief, but also added a lot of BADASSness to the story! I am proud of my lovely british friend! :)

Anyways, I'd deffinately see it if you're into any sort of bloody movies, cause let me tell you... It's not rated R for nothing!

I'm buying it first day it comes out on DVD. :)

Pre-"Fright Night"

I'm on my way to see that new movie "Fright Night". I'm fairly excited... Mainly because the original was pretty awesome and because vampire non-romance films are cool, and because I get to see my favorite actor (David Tennant) shirtless in 3D! Yeah... That's going to be pretty sweet ;)

I'm actually proud of David at the moment - from playing Barty Crouch Jr in Harry Potter 4 to playing.. Well I don't really know who he plays in Fright Night, but I know that it is an important character. Anyways, I'm proud because he's starting to become more and more known throughout America! I read somewhere that in this film, a lot of the acting he does is similar to that of his acting of The Doctor in the hit BBC show "Doctor Who". That makes me very much excited because I was truly hoping that some of his time-lordyness would show itself once in a while throughout the film, so I'm really excited. (I think I'm saying that too much!).

Anywhoodles, I'll go ahead and post about the film once it's over and try my best not to put any spoilers. :)

Sara's Genisis

So I decided to start my own little blog, something that I have tried before but always ende up forgetting to update. Hopefully, this time around, while I have blogger now on my phone, I will be able to be more... Active.

As of today, my birthday is in six days. My mothers birthday is tomorrow, and the first day of school is on Monday. I'm going to be a junior, can you believe it? It seems like yesterday when I was a freshman. I just got home about an hour ago from Heathers house. We had a 'drumline girls sleepover' that was pretty much the last bit of fun we'll be able to have before school starts. We had fun. It was a nice evening.

I have begun to realize, though, that me and Cassidy have A lot in common - especially when it comes to really really nerdy things. For example, we both enjoy (secretly) fanfiction, we both have an obsession with the Doctor Who series, and we both adore the forever handsome David Tennant (who is, personally, my favorite actor.). It's quite exciting! I love talking to her about things such as "oh goodness... I would totally ship Snape and Lily" or things like "OMG Fullmetal Alchemist!". It's been years since I've felt the need to express my nerdy side without feeling as if I would be judged. Why? Well most of the people I associate with would think I was a super weirdo, and I don't want them to think that! So most of these things are more or less "guilty pleasures".

Anyways, that's all I really have to say for now... Maybe I'll have some things for later today.
Toodleloo!
